Each of the 6 important areas of the game are coordinated and taught by Ocean’s instructional staff. Ocean students train in their respective age group, or with other athletes who skills are comparable to their own. Each player has an opportunity to develop rapidly by receiving full attention from the instructors.

Everyone is on the ice a minimum of 4 hours daily. Each player has an assigned counselor to provide feed back under the direction of the instructional staff. Students will receive advanced training and instruction in the fundamentals and application of techniques in a training camp approach.
The goaltending will be integrated with the regular hockey program. Allowing the goaltenders actual practice and game situations in which to improve their skills.
Our hockey school programs are based and designed on Biomechanics, and the Physiological Science. The drills preformed are effective, simple, and great for all ages from the beginner to the advanced athlete. Our power skating techniques will explain tactics that will help you with self control and improve your skating. Lessons on the ice, off ice, and in the classroom will include techniques and strategies, which will help you to reach your potential. Everyday during dry land sessions you will discover ways to improve your physical condition, speed, endurance, power agility and flexibility.

History of the Ocean Ice Palace
Dr. Leon J. Dwulet built the Ocean Ice Palace in 1962. His vision was to provide skating and hockey development opportunities for the youth of Ocean and Monmouth Counties. The Dwulet family has owned and operated the Ocean Ice Palace and Ocean Hockey Supply continuously for the last forty two years, and it’s currently run by Dr. Dwulet’s daughter.
The Ocean Ice Palace is the home to Ocean Hockey Supply Pro-Shop. Our Pro-Shop carries a variety of models, colors, sizes and brand name products. Special make up orders are available as well. Ocean Hockey Supply proudly offers the best hockey products available.
School Philosophy
It is the primary goal of this school to teach young players the basic skills of the sport while creating an atmosphere that is enjoyable and rewarding. The staff feels they can provide a high standard of instruction and develop a network of drills that inspire the camp participants to work hard and learn while having a positive and enjoyable experience.
