The Ocean Ice Palace is a family owned and operated establishment. Dr. Leon J. Dwulet built the Ocean Ice Palace in 1962. His vision was to provide skating and hockey development opportunities for the youth of Ocean and Monmouth Counties. The Dwulet family has operated the Ocean Ice Palace and Ocean Hockey Supply continuously for the last 50 years, and it is currently run by Dr. Dwulet’s daughter. Ocean Ice Palace caters to a wide spectrum of clientele. The Ocean Ice Palace is currently the home rink to three local high schools, a middle school league, seasonal house leagues, Brick Hockey Club, Admirals Youth Hockey Club, War at the Shore Hockey Tournament’s drawing in teams from all over the east coast, as well as the host of multiple featured clinics and camps throughout the year run by Ocean Hockey Academy.
